Mel & Matt were hitched on a brisk, winter afternoon at the beautiful Historic Acres of Hershey. They exchanged heartfelt gifts before their ceremony including a special necklace & a framed print of Matt's favorite poem (how cool!). While it may have been cold outside, guests were cozy inside the ceremony space with a large, stone fireplace at the front of the ceremony. They used a few Christmas elements to celebrate the season such as a warm Christmas blanket during their portraits, a Christmas tree display inside, and being introduced into the reception with reindeer hats :) They also incorporated their love for the outdoors into their day by using evergreens, pinecones, and log slices as chargers while still keeping with an elegant and classy overall look. Overall, it was a beautiful day but what was even more beautiful was watching these two people make such a special commitment to each other. Mel & Matt were literally the sweetest and it was such a joy to photograph their day! Enjoy!
